“Les Couleurs du Temps”
A public building located in Saint Orens, on the outskirts of Toulouse (France).
A unique facade design centered around 4 mm-thick aluminum sheet louvers, which combines folding-sliding systems with fixed elements.
This outer skin extends to cover 3 floors, as well as lateral gables, with more than 150 panels measuring approximately 600 mm by 3,000 mm, including both fixed and folding components.
Uniqueness:
The spirit of this facade aims to use different louver finishes, measurements and layouts to represent the colors of each season.
Maximum personalization:
To achieve this, louvers with 9 different measurements were combined. Each louver measurement was lacquered in 9 different colors and laid out on the panels in a totally random way in terms of position and distance between louvers.
This project is completely unique, given that there isn’t a single panel with the same louver layout, size, color or separation. Go see for yourself!
The detailed vision proposed by the architect was implemented with great care, presenting our technical team with quite a challenge, especially during the production phase.
